Johnson holds a degree in Biblical studies from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. and a Masters in Leadership and Church Development from` Southwestern University in Oklahoma City, Okla. and the University of South Africa in Cape Town, South Africa. Bishop and Lady Carolyn were married in 1970 and have ministered together since 1971. The ministry is their life and their life is ministry. They have instilled the same qualities in their three children, Tifiny, Christopher and Matthew, who are also actively involved in the ministry at AMC. Although natives of California, the Johnsons reside in Atlanta, Ga. where they enjoy a variety of activities including golf, shopping, traveling, whitewater rafting, skiing, music and doting over their grandchildren.

Bishop Johnson. “That’s our job and we’re happy to do it.”
